Aurora University senior women's volleyball outside hitter Katie Vondra was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Athlete of the Week.

Vondra led AU to a 2-0 week with both contests coming in the NACC Tournament. The Spartans defeated Lakeland University (3-1) and Concordia University Wisconsin (3-2) in a thrilling tournament final match. She posted 27 kills and 18 digs against Lakeland and 18 kills and 22 digs against CUW, 5.0 kills and 4.4 digs per set. This is Vondra's second NACC Student-Athlete of the Week award this season.

On the season, Vondra, the 2018 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Player of the Year, led AU with 413 kills, a 3.93 per set average and a .228 hitting percentage. She also averaged 3.34 digs per set on the defensive side of the net.
