Aurora University women's hockey sophomore forward Nicole McKernan has been named Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Women's Hockey Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week. 
 
NcKernan accounted for almost every goal for her the Spartans on a 1-1 weekend to pick up the first NCHA Offensive Player of the Week honors of her career. She ended up netting four of the five goals for AU in the weekend series with the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, nearly leading her team to the sweep of the Pointers. She lit the lamp both times in a close 3-2 loss Friday and then followed that up with two more Saturday. Her first came in the final seconds of the opening period and her goal midway through the second stood up as the game-winner in the 3-1 victory. She now has eight goals on the season to lead the AU women
