Aurora University senior shortstop Elaine Walker was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Softball Position Player of the Week.

Walker earned the honor after she hit .613 (19-of-31) with a pair of doubles, a pair of home runs, 10 RBIs and nine runs scored while extending her hitting streak to 13 games. She posted multiple hits in seven of eight contests as the Spartans went 7-1 during the week. Overall, Walker posted an .871 slugging percentage and a .636 on-base percentage. Defensively, she was tagged with one error in 35 chances (21 putouts, 13 assists) for a .971 fielding percentage.
