Aurora University men's hockey student-athlete Adam Keyes was named the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Offensive Players of the Week following AU's weekend series sweep of Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Keyes picks up his second NCHA Offensive Player of the Week honors of the season after compiling five huge points (two goals and three assists) in a weekend series sweep of MSOE, helping AU pick up a 4-1 road win and an improbable 7-6 come-from-behind victory to secure the No. 2 seed in the Harris Cup playoffs. In the opener at MSOE on Friday, Keyes had one assist but that set up a huge game on Saturday. Keyes fueled an enormous come from behind win with AU trailing 5-2 heading into the third period before storming back and winning 7-6. He had two goals and two assists with the two goals coming in the third period and one of the helpers coming on the game-winning goal - capping a stretch of three unanswered to give Aurora a 13-3-2 ledger in NCHA regular-season action.

On the season, Keyes has 33 points with 13 goals and 20 assists while he continues to pull ahead in the race for the AU all-time goal scoring leader with 40, two ahead of teammate Jack jaunich.

Next action for the Spartan men's hockey team comes on Friday, February 17, when they host the first round series of the 2022-2023 NCHA Harris Cup Playoffs. AU will host Lake Forest College at the Fox Valley Ice Arena in Geneva, Illinois with opening puck drop slated for 2:00 p.m.
