Aurora University freshman Mattias Morris has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Morris earned the honor after he tied for the best final 36-hole score at the NACC Championships. He fired rounds of 71 and 76 for a three-over 147 total. The one-under 71 in Sunday's third round was the low round of the weekend, helping Aurora to another NACC title in convincing fashion.

Next action for the Spartan men's golf team comes on Tuesday, May 20 through Friday, May 23 at the 2024-2025 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship. The rounds will take place at Midvale Country Club in Penfield, New York
