Athletic Hall of Fame
Bill Neville (GWC Volleyball) was inducted into the Aurora University Hall of Fame with the class of 2004.
Neville received the Athletic Lifetime Achievement award from AU in 2004. Neville has shared his unique leadership skills with the world as a coach in three different Olympics for the United States and Canada, and in many other international events. He was the assistant coach of the USA Men’s National Team when they won the gold medal at the 1984 Olympics, acted as assistant coach in 1968 during the Mexico City Olympics, and was head coach from 1989 to 1990. In addition, he served as the head coach for the Canadian Men’s National Team during the 1976 Montreal Olympics
