Athletic Hall of Fame
Harry Walter was inducted into the Aurora University Hall of Fame with the class of 2004.
Walter spent three years at George Williams College, excelling in both basketball and baseball. In basketball, he received three varsity letters and served as co-captain the last two years. He also earned two varsity baseball letters. He holds the single-game scoring record of 43 points vs. Lakeland College during the 1962-63 season. He also holds the career-best free throw percentage of 75.3. During the 1963-64 season, he was a member of the Gateway Conference Co-Championship Team, and was named the First-Team All Conference.
