The Aurora University Spartans took to the road in the 2010 Northern Athletics Conference Men's Soccer Tournament Championship at Dominican University but were unable to overcome the top seeded Stars, falling 2-0.

The loss dropped AU to 13-7-1 overall and 10-1 in the NAC. In the contest, the Spartans were able to only muster up one shot on goal in the game and four shots all together.

Spartan senior Kevin Soderstrom and the defense did their best to keep AU in the contest, limiting the high powered Star offense to five shots on goal with Soderstrom picking up three saves.

The Spartans now wait to hear from the Division III men's soccer tournament selection committee for a possible bid into the 2010 NCAA Division III men's soccer championships. Announcement will be made on Monday, November 8, 2010 at approximately 10:00 a.m.
