Spartan senior forward
Nick Helmer scored the first four goals in AU's 6-0 win against Concordia University Chicago in a Northern Athletics Conference match-up on Vago Field Wednesday afternoon.

Anthony Amedei. Helmer fired a blast past Cougar senior goalkeeper Bart Loos.
Helmer went on to tally the next three AU goals. He scored in the 15th minute off an assist from senior forward Bob Gonnella and in the 26th minute off another Amedei assist.
The fourth goal for Helmer came one minute into the second half, this time he was unassisted.
Four minutes later, Gonnella lit the lamp, beating Loos giving AU a 5-0 lead. Gonnella's fourth goal of the season was assisted by senior midfielder Anthony Gutierrez.
The Spartans remained on the attack the rest of the second half and culminated the scoring when freshman midfielder
Shane Bergeil tallied his first collegiate goal off an assist from junior forward
Jim Kelly.
