The Aurora University softball team traveled to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for a conference matchup against No. 17 Milwaukee School of Engineering. The Spartans split the doubleheader, winning game one 5-1 but fell in game two 7-2.

-Â The Spartans fell behind 1-0 in the second when a lead-off error came around to score on a double.
- AU answered right away with a
Jemma Fiehweg one out triple and she scored on a bunt single by
Ashley Talaga.Â

Lexi Rayborn reached by a hit by pitch and
Tyler Chambers followed with a run scoring single.
- That was enough runs for AU starter
Hannah Tomasko as she would hold MSOE to the lone run despite some dicey moments.
- One of those came in the bottom of the third with the bases loaded and no outs but Tomasko struck out two of the three to get out of the inning.
- In the sixth the Spartans four straight hits including doubles from
Delilah Aguirre and
Brianna Hoffman. The Hoffman double drove in two.
- Three runs scored in the inning for AU who led 5-1.
- Tomasko shut down MSOE in the final two innings for the 5-1 win.

-Â The Spartans fell behind 2-0 in the bottom of the first with a pair of walks proving costly.
- An error and three singles led to two more MSOE runs in the second.
- AU got on the scoreboard in the fourth with singles from
Jemma Fiehweg and
Ashley Talaga. Fiehweg eventually scored on a sac fly from
Tyler Chambers.
- In the fifth, a walk and three MSOE singles led to two more runs and AU trailed 6-1.
- Chambers led off the seventh with a single and scored on a double from
Delilah Aguirre.
- AU fell to MSOE 7-2.
