Biography

2011 - 2012: He started all 20 games for the Spartans and recorded five goals. He was named to the First Team All-Northern Athletics Conference and the All-Sportsmanship Team.

2010 - 2011: He appeared in 21 games, starting 13 of them.  He was selected to the First Team All-Northern Athletics Conference and was a 2010-2011 NAC Scholar Athlete.

2009 - 2010: He appeared in nineteen games, starting three of them. He was selected as a 2009-2010 NAC Scholar Athlete.

2008 - 2009: Appeared in 17 games for the Spartans, starting three.

High School: Attended Somonauk High School, where he played four years of varsity soccer under Coach Dave Erasmus. He was named
All-Conference as a junior and senior and was named Team MVP as a senior.

Personal: Born 4/12/90 in Aurora, IL.

Family: Dave and JoAnn Houghtaylen.

Hobbies: Music, basketball and  video games.
