Aurora University freshman runner Alex Duncan (Batavia, Ill./Aurora Central Catholic H.S.) was named the Northern Athletics Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 10, 2013.
 
Duncan joined a long line of Spartans to set school records thus far in the 2013 season. He accomplished his record in the 800-meter run at the 2013 Chicagoland Indoor Championships, finishing eighth overall with a time of 1:58.51 and then teamed up on the 4x400 meter relay to set a school record in the event with a time of 3:28.44.
 
Next action for the Spartan men's indoor track and field teams comes on Saturday, February 16 when they travel to the Margaret Bradley Invitational at the University of Chicago. Meet time is set for 11:00 a.m. in Chicago, Ill.
