  • - Former athletic director and staff member at Aurora College (1957-62) and Aurora University (1968-94)
  • - Inducted into AU Hall of Fame and named recipient of school's Athletic Lifetime Achievement Award (2002).
  • - Served on and chaired numerous NAIA, NCAA, NACDA, and United States Collegiate Sports Council committees. Selected president of Northern Illinois Intercollegiate Conference (1986-88).
  • - Handled several roles as Athletic Director, chair of physical education department, intramural director, assistant professor, plus head coach in men's basketball and baseball in Aurora College tenure.
  • - Returned to AU as men's and women's athletic director in 10-sport program
  • - Women's softball coach (18 years), men's golf coach (15 years), baseball (five years), men's basketball coach (four years), and men's tennis coach (two years).
  • - Won 12 NIIC titles, participated in eight NCAA Division III Regionals, and qualified for one NCAA Final Four (1982)
  • - 384-164 career record (.701 pct.) in softball over 18 years (1977-1994).
  • - Coached 10 All-American’s, four NIIC Conference Players of the Year
  • - Coached Aurora College baseball (1958-1962 / 4 years) and held a 24-51-1 record
  • - Coached Aurora College men’s basketball (1958-1962 / 4 years) and held a 51-40 record.
