Biography

College as a Junior (’08): He appeared in 10 games for the Spartans with 39 rushing yards and 20 yards receiving.

College as a Sophomore (’07): He appeared in five games for the Spartans.

College as a Freshman (’06): He was primarily a member of AU’s junior varsity squad.

High School: He attended Grant High School and played two years of varsity football under Coach Mark Barczak. He was named All-Conference as a senior. He competed in three years of wrestling under Coach Ryan Geist, where he was named All-Conference as a junior and senior. He also competed in four years of varsity track under Coach Tom Evans.

Personal: Born 12/29/87 in Arlington Heights, IL.

Family: Robert and Cathy Howell. He has one sister, Kailley. His great grandfather was an Olympic gold medalist in the 1924 Paris games.

Hobbies: Cars and boats.
