College as a Junior (’08): He appeared in 11 games and made 52 tackles, including two sacks.

College as a Sophomore (’07): He appeared in 10 games, starting six, and had 37 total tackles, six-and-a-half tackles for loss, two-and-a-half sacks, and one fumble recovery.

College as a Freshman (’06): He played in nine games, recording 23 solo tackles, 19 assists, four tackles for loss, one quarterback sack and one interception.

High School: He attended Glenbard North High School and played two years of varsity football under Coaches Dale Evans and Ryan Wilkens. He was a senior captain and named Honorable Mention All-Conference. He also wrestled for two years under Coach Mark Hahn and played baseball under Coach Mike Franzen.
