Aurora University senior defender Bryce Wallgard was named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference (MLC) Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Wallgard earned the honor after he helped the Spartans to a 1-1 week which included a 15-6 MLC win at Cornell College. On the week, he forced 12 turnovers in the two games while picking up 13 ground balls. In the Spartans' 14-10 loss to Illinois Wesleyan University, Wallgard had nine caused turnovers and seven ground balls

On the season, he is second in NCAA Division III with 4.86 caused turnovers per game. He has 34 caused turnovers with 24 ground balls while also adding two goals and an assist in the transition game.
