Aurora University midfielder Josue Roman was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Soccer Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

He earned the NACC honor after he led AU to a 2-0 week and clinched a top-four seed in the upcoming NACC tournament with a pair of wins over Wisconsin Lutheran College (5-0) and St. Norbert College (3-1). Roman collected four points during the week with three goals and an assist. He had two goals in the win at WLC and then tallied the game-winning goal and an assist in the 3-1 win over SNC.

On the season, Roman helps to lead the Spartans (8-5-4 overall and 7-2-2 NACC) with 28 points on nine goals and 10 assists.

Next action for the Spartan men's soccer team comes on Wednesday, October 30 when they host Benedictine University. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m. at Spartan Athletic Park in Montgomery, Illinois.
