Aurora University senior Ellie Knight has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. Knight is the third Spartan to be named NACC Golfer of the Week this season.

Knight earned the weekly conference award after she posted a pair of top-five finishes last week. She opened the week by winning the Benedictine University Fall Classic at St. Andrews Golf Club in West Chicago, Illinois, the site of next month's NACC Championships, with an even-par 71. Knight followed that performance with a fifth-place finish at the Midwest Region Classic, posting a 36-hole total of 152 behind rounds of 79 and 73. The Midwest Region Classic featured 35 schools, including 10 of the NACC's 11 women's golf programs.

Next action for the Spartan women's golf team comes on Saturday, October 5, Sunday, October 6 and Monday, October 7 at the 2024-2025 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship. The event is being held at St. Andrew's Golf Course in West Chicago, Illinois.
