Aurora University softball infielder Faith Biggs was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Softball Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Biggs earned the honor after she led AU to a 4-0 weekend with a huge offensive performance. She went 7-for-12 (.583) at the plate with a home run, a triple, two doubles, 10 runs batted in and six runs scored as the Spartans swept MSOE (2-1, 9-4) and Edgewood (16-1, 7-3). She recorded at least one hit, one run scored and two RBIs in each of the four contests and had an extra-base hit in three of the four.

Next scheduled action for the Spartan softball team comes on Wednesday, May 1 when they host North Central College. First pitch of the doubleheader is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Bedrosian Stadium at Spartan Athletic Park in Montgomery, Illinois.
